Hi, I’m Aisling
(pronounced Ashling, it’s very Irish)
When I had my own maternity photos taken, I was eight months pregnant, I felt big and awkward and sore. I was put into stiff and unnatural poses and I was so uncomfortable it was hard to even force a smile. The images felt so unnatural and were expensive and time consuming (three trips to the studio in the city!!) and the worst part is now they’re hidden away in the back of my wardrobe.
After this experience I found myself in a position many other parents do too:
I wanted beautiful and natural photos of such an exciting time in my life, but ending up with something awkward, posed, and nothing like real life.
Fast forward nine years and I now run a successful photography studio on our family farm in North West Auckland, where everything is designed to be the opposite. Comfortable, relaxed, and full of ease.
How did I get here? After years of study and hands-on learning, I know how to create photos that actually feel like you and your family. As a mum of three little kiddies, I feel each stage falling through my own fingers and I know how deeply you’ll want to remember it all.

But if you find yourself falling in love with more (and most families do), you’ll have the option to upgrade to the full gallery of 30–40 images, so you can keep every little detail.

Thirty minutes, ten edited images, private online gallery. Simple, relaxed, done. If you fall in love with more, you can upgrade to the full gallery of 30 to 40 or add extra images.

Tuesdays mid morning and Fridays afternoon. Other weekdays are possible if you book ahead. No Saturdays or Sundays.

Helensville, on our family farm, parking on site. It is easy to find and pram friendly. Text me if you get turned around.

Keep it simple and comfortable. Neutrals, soft textures, nothing too logo heavy. I send a style and prep guide after you book. Client closet is available for full sessions, for Petite I can lend a couple of pieces if needed.

Yes. I heat or cool the space so everyone is happy. Tell me if you run hot or cold and I will adjust.

All good, I work with kids every day. We keep it light, playful, and fast. I guide you so it never feels stiff.

Please reschedule if your child is unwell. Your booking fee secures your spot and is non refundable, we will move you to the next available date. If I am sick, I will offer a priority reschedule or a refund.

Yes, up to five people total. Petite is designed for an immediate family group however that looks for your family. If you’d like more than five people, or multiple pets and family groups, go for a Full Storytelling Session so no one feels rushed.

Petite is one studio scene. If you want freedom and variety, book a Full Storytelling Session. Beach, home, farm, or even a mountain view, we can plan it.

About three weeks for your gallery. Yes, you can buy extra images or upgrade to the full gallery. You can print for personal use, or I can design albums and custom framing for your walls.
